How manage license and data using mobile license for multiple users?

Solution

Mobile License 
  1. Check-Out Mobile license at the office from the main computer / server that the  UBS has activated the software license. 
  2. Go to AdminAdministrator SettingsLicense ManagementAccounting and select Manage License 
  3. Select “I would like to check-out mobile license” and select Next.
  4. Select Number of Days you wish to check – out a license to user with reason  
  5. Save the mobile license key on a folder.  Example: C:\BACKUP\WFH\STEVEN\ 
  6. Create username folder for each mobile license you check-out and save it unto the location. 
  7. Then copy that mobile license key to a pen-drive for each user and, also include backup data for each user
  8. Repeat the above procedures for Inventory System also if required. When you activate Accounting System, the license automatically activates a free version Billing System.  If you have an Inventory System license, you need to use the mobile license for the Inventory. 
To install the mobile license at HOME: 
  1. Install the UBS software on a computer at home or bring home an office laptop with the Sage UBS Software already installed. 
  2. You may download our software from this link: https://download.my.accessacloud.com/
  3. Open the application and check the system settings in AdminAdministrator Settings, and select System Settings. IP Address = 127.0.0.1 for both the Accounting and Inventory Systems and the Port Number = 8900. 
  4. Logout and select Mobile License function at the Login Menu and select INSTALL
  5. To install, select the location of the Mobile license key and open and select to activate the license. 
  6. Once activated, the system will prompt to restart.  Let it restart and login.  Now you are ready to use at home. 
Backup Data 
How to manage data at home with more than 1 user? 
  1. Create a new company and call it WFH May 2021. 
  2. Restore backup data from backup file from office
  3. Please create a new batch in transaction function using Organize batches and name it WFH Journal. 
  4. Once you have completed your work from home and MCO has been lifted, please backup your data and bring it back to office to update the office computer. 
How to manage license after complete Work from Home 
  1. At login screen select Mobile License and select Uninstall 
  2. Delete the Mobile License Key file from your storage (pen-drive, external hard drive, etc…) 
  3. At the office server open the UBS application and login.  Select AdminAdministrator Settings, License Management, Manage License and select “I would like to check-in mobile license”. Select the original license as above example: C:\BACKUP\WFH\STEVEN\ 
  4. After successful check-in delete the Mobile License Key from the location C:\BACKUP\WFH\STEVEN\ also.  Repeat this procedure for each user with their own specific folders. 
How to manage backup data after Work from home is over 
  1. Create a new WFH company at the main computer / server. 
  2. Restore user backup data 
  3. Setup Export / Import data and export WFH batches.  
  4. Open company original data directory and Setup Export /Import data. 
  5. Import data from WFH files to update data at the office computer. 
  6. Repeat all this for each user check in.
