UBSA1.18 : Access UBS (Accounting): How to import a Purchase Debit Note

Solution

To import a Purchase Debit Note:

Note: Take a backup of your data before you begin. 
  1. Go to C drive/UBSSTK2015/Data
  2. In the data folder with Purchase Debit Note transaction, copy and rename the files below:
    • ARTRAN.DBF to OARTRAN.DB
    • ARTRAN.CDX to OARTRAN.CDX
    • ICTRAN.DBF to OICTRAN.DBF
    • ICTRAN.CDX to OICTRAN.CDX
    • ICTRAN.FPT to OICTRAN.FPT
  3. Copy the renamed files and paste them in the data folder where you want to import Purchase Debit
  4. Run the following FoxPro command for example from Ref. No.: PDN00001 to Ref. No.:PDN00005:  
  5. Open and go to 0.File, 0. Exit. You will be prompted 'Are you sure you want to quit the program now?'
  6. Press the F key on your keyboard to call up the FoxCMD emulator:
    1. USE ARTRAN APPEND FROM OARTRAN FOR TYPE='SDN' AND REFNO >='PDN00001' AND REFNO <='PDN00005' USE ICTRAN APPEND FROM OICTRAN FOR TYPE='SDN' AND REFNO >='PDN00001' AND REFNO <='PDN00005' QUIT
  7. Go to Housekeeping, Data Recovery and click OK and then click Yes.
  8. Go to Transactions, Purchase Debit Note, Check the transaction.
