Environment

Solution

To fix the Error Message Invalid Username and password complete the following:
  1. Go to this pc, Local disk (C:), UBSCPL, cut the CompanyMerge, CompanyMerge.DBF, CompanyMerge.FPT.
  2. Paste at the desktop (create a folder)
  3. Go to Access UBS, Login
Note 1: If the company is missing then merge or else no need to merge

To Rectify Error Message Invalid Username and password from Client PC: (server able to login UBS)
  1. For all computers using UBS, open windows Control Panel and select Windows Defender Firewall
  2. Select Allow an app or feature through WIndows Defender Firewall
  3. Look for Sage UBS apps or features and tick Public and Private for all Sage UBS apps and features
  4. Open 3rd party Antivirus and whitelist UBS Apps and Features.
Note 2The error message Invalid Username and password occurs because sometimes it could mean that the connection to the data from the client pc to the server is blocked. However, it did not prompt that there was a connection attempt failed while trying to connect to the server because the block was only on UBS App and Feature not the server machine entirely. So, when the App or Feature is blocked, it is unable to retrieve the correct user login and password as that data is not accessible.
