UBSA1.148 : Access UBS (Accounting):How to resolve the message prompted "Table c:\\ubsstk90\\data\\artran.dbf has become corrupted. code 2091"

Solution

To solve the issue, use the function tool of recover.exe and dbf_fix.exe:

Method 1 :

  1. In Windows Explorer, copy the application DBF_FIX.exe from UBS program folder to data folder. 
  2. Open command prompt and type cd c:\\ubsstk90\\data and then hit Enter key.
  3. Type dbf_fix.exe artran.dbf and hit Enter key.
  4. Hit Y key to confirm. 

Method 2 :

  1. In UBS Inventory & Billing System, go to Reports, External Application.
  2. Select Run DBF_FIX.exe and then click Run.
  3. Type Y to confirm. 
  4. Go to Housekeeping, Upgrade Database Files.

Method 3 :

  1. Use Recovers.exe.
